Mixed Presence Groupware Capabilities

The [braccetto] project is developing a range of mixed presence groupware capabilities to support collaboration in mixed presence settings. This includes:

  • Virtual Terminal - high quality remote desktop capabilities with real time multi-input mised presence capabilities
  • Livespaces - Distributed Meeting Room Coordination Services
  • Teamscope - ICT enabled real-time and multi-data stream support application for observers in mixed presence settings
  • MPX - Multi-pointer x-server
  • White! - a Mixed Presence Whiteboard application
  • ECCE - meeting awareness tool
 
Domain Engagement
Research is currently being undertaken in 2 key end-user domains where mixed presence settings and challenges exist. This includes: 
  • Multi-disciplinary Cancer Team Meetings in distributed settings
  • Defence Force Planning and Exercises
